Where an advocate-client relationship has been formally established, communications between the client and the advocate are protected by professional privilege under Section 132 of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 (corresponding to Section 126 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872, for matters pending or arising prior to 1 July 2024). This privilege belongs to the client and may be waived only by the client.

However, information submitted through the contact form, email, or other preliminary communications prior to formal engagement does not by itself attract professional privilege. Users are requested not to share sensitive, confidential, or privileged information through this website until a formal advocate-client relationship has been established and confirmed in writing.

Disclosure of Information
